Amazing Curtain at the Oslo Opera House

oslooperacurtain.jpg

I <3 juztapozed textures. I like the humor in brass knuckles made from china plates. I think the best part about needlefelting is creating solid felt from fluffy wool. I like heavy chain knit from weightless yarn. And so, this curtain made for the Oslo Opera House is making me very happy. Artist Pae White created a tin foil curtain with woven fabric. Metal made from fiber! I need to take a minute to catch my breath! [via feelguide]
